Where am I? News I WILL FOREVER BE LOYAL TO OSAGYEFO KWAME NKRUMAH –GHANA UNION CHAIRMAN
I WILL FOREVER BE LOYAL TO OSAGYEFO KWAME NKRUMAH –GHANA UNION CHAIRMAN E-mail

Kwame AduThe Ghana Union - UK Chairman, Mr Kwame Adu has stated unreservedly that he will forever be loyal and grateful to Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah because but for him, he would not have had free education or travelled abroad.

“But for President Nkrumah I would not have been here in the UK, my parents could not have afforded my secondary or university education.”

The Ghana Union president said even though he passed his secondary school entrance examination, he could not afford going to secondary school because his parents did not have the funds but thanks to Dr. Nkrumah’s Cocoa Board scholarship he was able to get both secondary and university education.

The Cocoa Scholarship was set up by Dr. Nkrumah to help wards of farmers and other deprived but intelligent students have free education, thus making education in Ghana totally free up to the university level.

Mr Kwame Adu made these submissions in the studios of Voice of Africa Radio as a member of a panel that looked at the life and legacy of Osagyefo Dr, Kwame Nkrumah .The symposium was organised to mark the 102nd birthday of the Africa’s proudest son.

The renowned educationist described subsequent leaders after Nkrumah as ‘inward and selfish’ who were only interested in lining their own pockets and cared very little about development of the African nation.

” It is a shame that Ghana has only one motorable motorway, and industrialisation grounded to a halt after the death of Nkrumah due to greedy characters who came into government ”

Nkrumah, he said had Ghana and Africa at heart and would have worked for a better Africa if he was alive, “If Nkrumah had lived we would have a better Africa than we have today”

He decried Americans and the French who gave arms to Libya and other Africans to fight among themselves and said Nkrumah stood for the unification of Africa.

“Nkrumah is a living legend, who should not be limited to only one or two countries, Nkrumah helped to trim and educate other African leaders who had not even thought of their own independence”

Speaking on the same platform, the Alkebu-lan Revivalist Movement Leader, Brother Leader Mbandaka paid glowing tribute to the memory of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and said that Nkrumah was courageous in the face of adversity.

Brother Mbandaka said Nkrumah was a prophet sent by God to deliver his people, the Africans from the oppressors rule.

“We know a prophet by their fanatical pursuit, , Nkrumah was on a mission by the God of Africa to deliver his people, Africans”

Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was possessed and obsessed with righteousness to carry out the work of the divine, Mbandaka said.

“Nkrumah was a living manifestation of the presence of God, he brought us hope, he was a visionary leader, he tried to demonstrate to us patriotism and selflessness, he spoke into our suffering and need “ the Leader added.

The NDC women’s organizer in the UK, Mary Osabutey praised President Atta-mills’ foresight in establishing the Founders Day two years ago to commemorate the noble works of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Madam Osabutey said the opposition in parliament stood stiffly against the institution of the Founders day but in the end the social democrats , as she preferred to call the ruling NDC had the day.

Madam Osabutey called for the re-introduction of the Young Pioneer Movement to instil patriotism in our youth.

“If I become a president’s wife or get a higher status in politics, I will re-introduce the Young Pioneer movement. I was a Young Pioneer myself, we will encourage our youth to be proud of our motherland, if people would be robbed of their history, then they will be lost forever” she said.

Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah has inspired our souls and we shouldn't forget how he made a successful change amongst Africans as a whole.

Nkrumah was full of ideas, because he wasn't scared to dedicate onto us, because it was the vision and the ideas of what Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah installed amongst not only Ghanaians, but the African families across the globe.

The roads in Tema, free education and installing high energy across the homes of Ghanaians, this is what Kwame Nkrumah did, but with some of us, instead of honouring the works of Nkrumah and we shouldn't be bothered with that, we choose to come out with our feeble deluded madness that Nkrumah is a criminal, he wasted the money in Ghana and he was a dictator, because he wanted to be President for life.

But then his enemies especially from then United Party which now the New Patriot Party were using their sickening acts of plotting to kill Nkrumah etc; and we don't care they dislike Nkrumah.
