Sudan: Martyrdom of 32 Persons in Plane Crash in Taludi Area PDF Print E-mail

Khartoum — President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has expressed his condolences to the Sudanese people on martyrdom of the federal Minister of Guidance and Endowments, Engineer Ghazi Al-Saddiq, and others in crash of the plane carrying them to Taludi town, South Kordofan State, when they were en route to congratulate the town's citizens on Eid Al-Fitr. Hereunder, Sudan News Agency (SUNA) published names of the martyrs on board the plane:

A deadline is approaching for striking workers at the South African mine where police shot dead 34 miners on Thursday to go back to work or face dismissal. A statement from mine owner Lonmin said 3,000 workers were striking illegally and must report to work on Monday.
