This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

We are called to preach the gospel of the King and His kingdom, but something is terribly wrong. The reason the devil is having such a field day with the church is because the church preaches - another gospel - that is different from the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We have a habit of mixing too many things together. Do you know that some pastors have trouble figuring out if their church members are even saved? One of my pastor friends told me,  Salvation has become so superficial today that [joining the kingdom] is like joining a social club.

The kingdom is not a social club; it is a warring army that is advancing against spiritual darkness and occupying new territory for its King, Jesus Christ! Eligibility requires complete commitment and great hunger for the things of God. Are you eligible?

Forget the social club. This is war! It is time to advance and preach the true gospel of the King and His kingdom!

Today's Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the blessings of fellowship and relationships in my church, but I confess that at times I have placed these blessings ahead of my disciplined walk in Your Son. I have also been reluctant to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom to those You have placed in my life. Please forgive me, and grant me the grace and power to share Christ and His kingdom boldly today, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
