Africa fish fall blamed on Japan written by Kerry M. Berger , June 26, 2008
Earlier this year, I wrote in a comment to Radio Australia and to an Australian newspaper regarding the Sea Shepard incident against the Japanese whaling ship, and the fighting going on regarding continued bogus "research" whaling. As I pointed out then, the Japanese Government's position on whaling is emotional and not based on solid science, and that if they continue to push their views the greater issue of loss of fish stocks would end up becoming a greater international embarrassment to Japan. My assumption has been proven correct, and the Japanese are going to have a very difficult time defending their fisheries operations around the globe.
