FINANCE Minister Trevor Manuel"s name forms a regular part of the sales pitch given by telemarketers who solicit memberships for the African National Congress"s (ANC"s) money-raising Progressive Business Forum. Since the forum started in February 2006, however, Manuel has not once appeared at the meetings with cabinet ministers listed among the benefits of membership.
