| By Our reporter - Oge Anyanwu, a volunteer Journalist Trent park was occupied on Saturday for the open air African and Caribbean family re-union festival .It was attended by over 3,000 people from London and beyond. The main stage was graced with music artists from Jamaica and native countries of Nigeria and Ghana. Fashion shows were staged by different designers including Nubian fashion line. It was so tantalizing that the eyes of most males in the crowd turned red. In no time all camera phones were out, and as well as taking pictures, some were attempting to jump on the stage. Paco 3 and up and coming group performed and after thunders of applause the youth in the crowd were yelling for more. Agoo Magazine in association with Money gram organized the event, providing stalls for businesses to promote themselves. Visitors who arrived were spoilt for choice with different African food and drink that had queues by the dozens for corn and chicken. Roasted chicken and kebab was by Bongo restaurant based in Seven sisters. The chicken was so palatable that the queue was extremely long people were asking for more Assam could not keep up with request. The aim of uniting the people of African descent was fostered in the event .It was a great chance to see old friends and meet new people .A most enjoyable event , it should eventually be a yearly affair. |  |  | The two most famous UK based Ghanaian Broadcast-Journalists and very best friends were also present at the Cockfosters to report on this well organized African event.
