Voice Of Africa Radio Scooped GAB Award On Sunday, 10th October, Voice of Africa broke a new record when she became the first African internet radio station to receive an award of excellence for the outstanding contribution to the positive image of Africa and Africans in the United Kingdom. The project manager, Space Clottey, was bewildered as they triumph over the other strong nominees - in the same media category - echoed through the ears of over 500 sons and daughters of Africa present at the Holiday Inn, Kensington Forum to witness the Africa’s version of Oscar. In his acceptance speech Space Clottey thanked the almighty father for the strength and ability imposed in VOAR’ team to carry-out this media liberation in the UK, he also thanked the numerous voluntary staff and presenters who have helped to make this award possible, he went on to thank the organizers for recognizing that the Voice of Africa Radio is a force to be reckoned with. | | Voice Of Africa Radio received an award as the best Radio Station / Web site in London.
